A Place To Bury Strangers announce new LP

transfixation

Big news coming up! The New York noise rockers will be back soon with a new record and on tour! A Place To Bury Strangers will release a new album called “Tranfixiation” on February 17th via Dead Oceans records. Their fourth full-length will follow up the 2012 “Worship” and the “Strange Moon” EP from 2013.

Six days ago they uploaded a mysterious promotion video named “2015” that featured 41 seconds of set-up and live footage together with a new tune.

Now the first single “Straight”  – a fast rough post-punkish piece – together with the tremendous album art work are out.

Dead Oceans further announce that the new studio album is about to sound more experimental and bold. “Rather than fixating on precious recording techniques and minute details, the members of the group – guitarist/singer Olvier Ackermann, bassist Dion Lunadon, and hard-hitting drummer Robi Gonzalez – trusted their instincts and tried to keep things as pure as possible.”

And you can check out the tracklist that reads a bit like chapters for a film script.

1. Supermaster
2. Straight
3. Love High
4. What We Don’t See
5. Deeper
6. Lower Zone
7. We’ve Come So Far
8. Now It’s Over
9. I’m So Clean
10. Fill The Void
11. I Will Die
